When it comes to knowing things i usually rely on my teachers input and pretty much throw everything that I have to say out the window. I think and usually depend on the teacher’s answers, input and advice being correct. My teachers are usually the ones that know what they are talking about or else they wouldn't be teaching the class. I'm not going to say that I have never had to think about what my teacher has told me or think that my teacher has been wrong because I have. But when I go to correct them or ask if they were sure they will always come back with the right answer! When I approach writing or reading an essay I always go into to it as if I have no idea what I’m doing. All I think to myself is other things that I could be doing rather than what I have to read or write. When I finally do get into the story or get into writing I usually approach it by going with the flow. I try to be open to whatever it is that I am reading and try to see if I can make connections or not. I have to admit though, when I read I do read to try and answer the teacher’s questions that she is going to ask the next day in class. I also have different interpretations for different stories so I believe that each person has a different interpretation for different stories and things that they do. When it comes to talking in class and trying to join into the class discussion I usually try to, unless there is an * o’clock class! Otherwise I just feel like saying what’s on my mind even if it has nothing at all to do with the topic of what I read the night before. Lastly, when I read an essay or book, I usually skim over the pages trying to get done quick fast and in a hurry because it’s usually not what I want to be doing at the time!!
