BP3
Wow, I really enjoyed reading this! The printed format of the "Consider This" and the short story didn't make sense to me but after I got into the swing of things and reviewd the first three paragraphs again I understood. The pace of Moore's story was really quick and you had to think fast because you didn't know where she'd be going next and I loved it. I think her writing is outrageous! It was outrageous and I liked it a lot! When "Francie" was explaining the scenario and characters of her stories I only wish you could have been with me to see my face, it was hilarious, the stories I mean...Idon't know that an "insane writer" is a cliché it's just a fact, hahaha, no I'm just kidding. I don't think writers are crazy, just quirky. I mean really, some of the most brilliant people are, you know, just a little off their rocker or so it seems to us. For instance I know this girl from my high school who is a brilliant artist and excellent writer and poet, she is an amazing person but she's not one to go with the flow of society but isn't that what artists are though? Aren't artists of any an every media supposed to be the "cultivators" of our culture? to provoke emotion and physical action? Well, if not to anyone else they are to me, or the should be otherwise I do not think the title of "artist" is applicable. But hey that is just personal opinion. Hm, stereotypes. I don't think I hold and stereotypes at least none that I know of. I don't know. Plots I think can be used but not necessarily needed because if you can get a point across without one it sounds good to me. Five paragraph essay? No problem unless you feel there is more to be said than in five paragraphs. For the most part of high school five paragraph essays were the standard. The only essay that comes to mind right now is the one we read about MTV Mike. I remember it because he held an interesting view of popculture and it's relationship to televised media. The end.
