The web site I chose was http://www.tabletpc2.com/Software.htm. This site shows software recommendations that would be compatible and useful for a tablet pc. It uses text to describe the software but also uses images to demonstrate what the program does. This is very useful to those who vist the site because it tells the person about the program in two different ways that complement each other. The images may be a picture of the package of the program itself or its logo. Some images however are a little more useful because they are a snapshot of the program actually being used on a computer screen. These images go more with their descriptions because it shows exactly what the text is describing. Also a nice feature about this website is that if you click on the image it will link you to the original website where that software is sold to get more information. This website also has reviews of the software and of different brands of tablet pcs. The message told in the discriptions are all complemented by the images that go with it. An example is a program that allows you to use the pen on a tablet pc to write on top of the text on a powerpoint, lecture notes from a teachers web page, and even other web pages. The picture that goes with it is of a computer screen that shows a webpage with a Halo logo on it. It also shows a hand holding a tablet stylus and red lines underlining the word Halo and other things on the page. This shows what the description of the program said. I believe that this website is made more useful and easily used because it uses text and images to portray the informationit wants to.
