In Mark Masons “Adaptations, Limitations, and Imitations” he made a lot of changes as he revised it. The more and more he re-read and revised the better his paper became. Some of the changes he made included the introduction. At first his intro was slightly bland and bored me. But after he revised it he changed it up and made it a lot more interesting. I think his revisions were very successful in his introduction.
Mark also revised the order of his paper at first it was a little random but hey it’s a shitty first draft right. Also he revised and edited his paper and put it into a more understandable order. His revision of the order was successful it made the paper flow a lot better and not seem so chopped up and unorganized.
When I revise a paper I look to make it better and if that means cutting things out and putting more in I am all for it. I do want to get the highest grade possible and that’s what it takes to get it. You have to revise and improve in order to get that wonderful paper.
The hardest part about revising my own paper has to be the fact that I think its great as it is. So it is harder to realize that I might have errors in it or need more info or whatever the case is. It’s not easy being your own judge when you’re biased because it is your own paper. I may think my paper is perfect when in actuality it isn’t and it needs to be improved. That’s why I like to have my peers revise my paper as well as myself. They can tell me things I would not have thought about and overall help my paper.

I totally agree with you Amber in the fact that I always think that my paper is awesome and doesn't need any changes. Obviously everyone is biased to their own paper and it is really hard to do any revision yourself. maybe the grammar and spelling and punctuation can be edited much easier by yourself but as soon as it comes to the flow, validity and supporting your point, another brain is much more helpful. As the saying goes "Two heads are better than one" So whenever I write a paper I always get someone to look it over, back home it was always my mom and then I would get one of my friends to revise it for me after that. The more help/advice that you can get, the better your paper can be!
